About Me

My passion for horses started in the pastures and cornfields of Iowa. After teaching myself the basics of riding, my desire to learn more landed me in working student positions in the hunter/jumper world and later, eventing. Throughout my riding career, I have worked extensively with off-the-track thoroughbreds and came to have a deep understanding and appreciation of them. Growing up within a 30 minute drive of Arlington Park, I had the amazing opportunity to get to know these horses both on the track and in the stables. While my heart is with working with OTTBs, my riding career has expanded to also include training horses of all breeds, sales, and sharing my knowledge through offering riding lessons.
